Club Coach course - Tinto Hotel 24th & 25th March 2007
Just a reminder that the Club Coach course is being run next weekend
at Tinto Hotel. There are places still to be filled and the more who
attend the better.
This is being co-ordinated by Sean Figgitt - who can be contacted
directly on :- 01294 551403 or 07765 884225
This is the first course of its type that has been run in Scotland for
3 years !! - and as such represents an ideal opportunity for you to
receive some subsidised training. Naturally pilots from Northern
England are cordially invited as well.
Cost: SHPF members have been subsidised for the course, so you will
not have to pay the BHPA fee, (£25) but there will be approx £6.00
each to pay for the 2 days of lecture room hire.
Also we have made a deal with the hotel for people staying over night
- The rooms will be £27.50 per person per night provided that twin/
double room are shared, breakfast is also included, if you require
rooms please book direct with the hotel, and make sure that you
mention that you are with the paragliding party, that way you can take
advantage of the deal on offer.
If that is a bit steep for your budget, then I have enclosed a list of
other accommodation options. Also there will be soup and sandwiches
made available at lunch time for the group if required @ £4.50 per
head, this facility has to be booked early so the kitchen can cater
for numbers, so please can you let me know soonest if you want the
midday meal. All these costs will be paid direct to hotel by
individuals.

This is for any and all paragliding pilots with carbon fibre seat plates.
Please be aware that the plates can cause severe abrasion to straps/leg loops coming into contact with them.
Although this pertains directly to the Sup'Air Alti Randonneuse XC harness, owners of all harnesses equipped with carbon seat plates should check for abrasion of the leg straps where they pass around the carbon seat plate.
The original FFVL safety notification in French - is here.
Please check yours now and consider the following modifications as per the link here at Northern Paragliding.
