On the 11th March at The BAFTA Scotland New Talent Awards 2008 within the "Best First Time Producer ? Factual" category Dave Hipkiss was nominated for X-Alps: The World?s Most Extreme Race.

This features Ulric and Ruth Jessop during the 2007 X-Alps competition and the film was made for BBC Scotland.

Update - unfortunately this film did not win, however that does not lessen in any way the quality of the film or the amazing amount of dedication required by Ulrich and Ruth to enter and compete in this event.
